Description

Our body is the only thing we always have with us. We fill it with ideas and inspiration, and then send it out, onto the stage to improvise. We open our mouths and create dialogues, monologues, filled with deep thoughts, songs and funny wordplay. But what happens if you leave out the language, stop the speech, and trust only your body?

This workshop is all about telling stories with your body:

Hold a physical monologue! Join your partner in a body dialogue! Using mime, the work of Laban and clowning, we'll experiment with how we can use our physical selves to discover and express pictures, emotions, and stories, all without using words!

Students will have the opportunity to perform in a showcase on Friday 18th September

Bio

Anne is an actor, teacher and director from Vienna. Born and raised in Germany, she has a background in clowning, bodywork and theatre education for kids and teens. She loves travelling around the world to teach and perform and meet a bunch of other ImproNerds.
